Katrina Byrnes

Katrina Byrnes is an emerging legal professional with a strong foundation in legal research, advocacy, and public-interest work. Currently a second-year law student at Regent University School of Law.

During the summer, Katrina Byrnes served as a Summer Law Clerk with the American Center for Law and Justice, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in legal research, writing, and advocacy. This experience provided her with an opportunity to engage with complex legal issues while further developing the analytical and writing skills essential to effective legal practice.

At Regent Law, Katrina Byrnes remains actively involved in both professional and student leadership. She serves as Secretary of Public Interest Legal Advocates of Regent (PILAR), an organization dedicated to encouraging students to explore the role of law in serving the public and advocating for others. She also serves as the 2L Representative for the Wellness Society, where she contributes to efforts supporting the well-being and development of fellow law students.

Katrina Byrnes is particularly passionate about the intersection of law, service, and advocacy. Her experiences in public-interest work and student leadership have strengthened her belief that effective legal representation requires not only strong legal skills, but also attentiveness to the people and communities attorneys serve. She hopes to continue developing as a thoughtful and well-rounded legal professional who approaches each matter with diligence, integrity, and purpose.

Outside of law school, Katrina enjoys doing anything creative and values spending time with her wonderful friends and family.
