Evan M. Howard, JD

Evan is an emerging legal professional with a strong foundation in both legal research and client-centered advocacy. A recent graduate of Regent University School of Law, Evan brings a hands-on, practical approach to the law shaped by diverse legal and personal experiences.

At Regent Law, Evan served as a Board Member for the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and Vice President of the Virginia Bar Association student chapter. Before entering law, Evan earned his B.S. in Health Sciences with a Biology minor from James Madison University. There, he served in leadership roles in the Fly-Fishing Club, including as Secretary and Treasurer, and co-authored a winning grant proposal for the National Park Trust College Ambassador Program—securing a $5,000 award for conservation initiatives.

Evan is particularly passionate about serving the elderly community in Tidewater. Evan hopes to become an experienced elder law attorney, focusing primarily on real estate transactions and estate planning.  In addition to focusing on transactional work, Evan is working to gain experience in small scale litigation to ensure that he is a well-rounded attorney capable of serving clients diligently and effectively in any scenario.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Evan is passionate about serving Tidewater through the combination of legal insight and a practical understanding of people’s real-world needs. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, spending time on the Lynnhaven River, and engaging with his friends, family, and community.
