Diana M. Bloomquist, J.D.
Diana is a legal professional with a passion for appellate advocacy, estate planning, and complex civil litigation. She recently earned her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, where she distinguished herself through academic achievement, national advocacy success, and leadership within the law school community.
During law school, Diana served as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board during a year in which Regent’s Moot Court program finished ninth in the nation. She earned numerous advocacy and academic honors throughout her time at Regent. Most notably, she was an advocate on the championship team that won the 2026 Hicks Thomas National Moot Court Championship. She also served as brief writer and coach for Regent’s winning team in the 2026 Gibbons Constitutional Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition, where the team also earned Second Best Brief honors in a large national competition. In addition, Diana served as an assistant coach to the winning team at the 2026 Spong Moot Court Tournament hosted by William & Mary Law School, after previously advancing to the semifinal round of the competition herself in 2025. She also received book awards for the highest grade in the class in both Civil Procedure I & II and served as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure, reflecting both her strong analytical abilities and commitment to mentoring fellow students.
Beyond moot court, Diana was actively involved as an Associate on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and as a Fellow with the Center for Professional Formation. Through these roles, she developed a reputation for thoughtful advocacy, professionalism, and practical problem-solving.
Before law school, Diana earned her B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University and her A.A.S. in Human Services from Tidewater Community College, graduating with honors and participating in community-based internships focused on supporting underserved populations. She also participated in several mission trips to Haiti through a nonprofit organization, experiences that strengthened her commitment to service and compassionate advocacy.
Professionally, Diana has developed experience assisting with complex civil disputes, estate and fiduciary litigation, appellate matters, and transactional work, including estate planning and business-related matters. She is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate difficult legal situations with clarity, empathy, and practical guidance.
Diana lives in Smithfield and enjoys reading, thrifting, traveling, and exploring local coffee shops in her free time.
